That's right.  All of our prices include your Scrumptious Seafood Share, full insurance, an insulated shipping box, gel packs, overnight shipping to your doorstep, applicable taxes and our labor of love.

SHIPS NOW Orders:  SHIPS-NOW Seafood Shares ship on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week to arrive to you the following day.  The order deadline is 12pm Alaska Time the day prior.

**If you need a different ship date, the fulfillment team at Tanners via email: info@smallscalesseafood.com.  They're happy to help!

PRE-ORDERS:  We begin shipping PRE-ORDER Seafood Shares in late September or early October depending on the fishing season.  We will contact you in advance to confirm your ship date once we have your fish ready.   

Your seafood ships from Alaska via FedEx Priority Overnight . All orders are insured and packaged in an insulated shipping container with gel packs. Your order will arrive No Signature Required and you will receive a tracking number via email once your shipment is on its way.  (Tracking emails come from ShipStation and can come days in advance, so check spam etc.!)  Urban addresses are guaranteed by 12:30pm and rural addresses are guaranteed by the end of the day.

Once your order is delivered Small Scales Seafood and Tanners Inc. are no longer responsible for the package.

**If you need any assistance with your order please call our fulfillment team at Tanner's: 1-866-209-4882.  They are open 9am-6pm AK time (one hour behind PST).  You can also reach them through info@smallscalesseafood.com.     Sometimes they can help push FedEx to rush a delivery, change an address, etc.** 
-If there are any issues with your seafood after it arrives please also contact Tanners at the above number and email.  They will work directly with you and FedEx to remedy the situation, file claims, reimburse you for seafood etc.


***Our goal is of course for your order to arrive in top notch shape but we want to let you know that your seafood is packed to withstand 2 days of travel, in the event of a shipping delay, and still arrive in really good condition.  The cooler is rated to keep your product cold for 72 hours and as long as your seafood is still cold, it is completely safe to eat and refreeze.  If a piece or two is thawed on top, eat that first.***





PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SHIPMENT:

If you have any issue with your seafood after it arrives, Small Scales Seafood/Tanners Inc., will take care of you to remedy the situation as best we can.  Please document any issues with photographs and an email and we will file a claim with FedEx. We will work with you to make sure you're happy!!



RECEIVING YOUR SEAFOOD SHARE:

Please handle your Scrumptious Seafood Share with care. Throwing or dumping the vacuum packed pieces into the freezer will cause package failures. Ideally unload each piece of scrumptious seafood carefully.

We hand-pick through each order before shipping to remove any package failures, where the vacuum seal of the plastic has failed. Sometimes new vacuum pack fails happen in transit or sneak past us. If you have a few just eat these pieces first! If you have a large quantity, please contact us and we'll work to remedy the situation.
